Partnership FAQs
Common questions about both programs.
No - the Referral Program is completely free to join. There are no upfront costs, no
monthly fees, and no minimum performance requirements. You apply, get approved, receive your referral
link, and earn commissions on completed sign-ups.
When someone clicks your referral link, a cookie is placed in their browser for 30 days.
If they sign up as a GetNorthPath client any time within those 30 days - even if they navigate away and
come back later - you receive the commission. If they sign up after 30 days, the cookie has expired and
the commission is not attributed to your link.
Commissions are paid on the 1st of each month for completed sign-ups in the prior month.
Payment is via Interac e-transfer (Canada) or PayPal. Minimum payout threshold is $50 CAD - if your
balance is below this, it rolls to the next month. All earnings are tracked in your referral dashboard in
real time.
Yes - all agency plans include a 14-day free trial. No credit card is required to start
the trial. After 14 days, billing begins monthly. You can cancel before the end of the trial with no
charge. During the trial, you have full access to all features in your selected plan tier.
Agency Partners have their own separate client onboarding flow - your clients sign up
through your white-label portal, not through a referral link. The Referral Program is designed for
individuals and community organisations who refer people to GetNorthPath's consumer platform. If you're
interested in both, contact partnerships@getnorthpath.com to discuss the best arrangement.
Agency plans can be downgraded to a lower tier or cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
There are no long-term contracts or early cancellation penalties. Your client data remains accessible for
export for 90 days after cancellation. We provide a complete data export on request.
Yes - settlement agencies and non-profit organisations are welcome to apply for both
programs. For Agency Partnerships, non-profit and settlement agency pricing may be available - contact
partnerships@getnorthpath.com with your organisation details. For the Referral Program, settlement workers
and community organisations are some of our most effective partners.
Not necessarily - the platform can be licensed by RCICs, immigration law firms,
settlement agencies, and employers. However, anyone providing immigration advice to clients in Canada must
comply with provincial and federal regulations regarding the practice of immigration consulting. We
recommend all Agency Partners ensure their use of the platform is compliant with applicable professional
regulations in their jurisdiction.
