Consultant-only access
Only your assigned case manager and authorised GetNorthPath staff can access your
documents. No other client, lead, or third party can ever see your file.
One-time portal access tokens
Your client portal is accessed via a one-time 48-hour token sent by your consultant.
Tokens expire on first use. All subsequent logins require your own password set during onboarding.

What if the AI fills a field incorrectly?

Every extracted value is reviewed by your licensed consultant before anything goes to IRCC.
This is non-negotiable - no application is submitted without consultant sign-off. If an error is found during
the consultant review, it is corrected and you are notified. In addition, you have full visibility into every
form field through your client portal, and you can flag anything that looks wrong at any time.
What documents does the AI need to fill my forms?

The AI reads whatever you upload. The more documents you provide, the more fields get
auto-filled. At minimum, your passport is required (fills personal data). Each additional document fills more
fields: job offer letter (employer data), IELTS certificate (language scores), bank statements (financial
data), acceptance letter (school and program data), LMIA (LMIA number and employer compliance). Missing
documents result in those fields being left blank for your consultant to address.
Does the AI fill forms in both English and French?

The Form Fill Agent fills forms in English by default. For Quebec-stream applications
requiring French forms, the agent uses GetNorthPath's Translation Agent (DeepL primary, Google Translate
fallback, GPT-4o for low-resource content) to provide French-language values. For bilingual IRCC forms, both
language sections are populated. Your consultant reviews translated content for accuracy before submission.
How does the AI handle scanned documents (photos of documents)?

GetNorthPath accepts PDFs, JPGs, PNGs, and HEIC files. Scanned documents and phone photos are
processed using optical character recognition (OCR) before field extraction. For high-quality scans (300
DPI+), accuracy is equivalent to native PDFs. Low-quality or blurry scans may result in lower confidence
extractions - the AI flags these for consultant review rather than inserting potentially incorrect values.
What happens to my documents after my application is submitted?

Your documents remain accessible in your client portal for 12 months after your application
is submitted - useful if IRCC requests additional documents during processing. After 12 months, documents are
archived (no longer in active storage) but available on request for 24 months. After 36 months, documents are
permanently deleted unless you request earlier deletion. You can request deletion at any time through your
portal settings.
Why can't AI fill the travel history and declarations?

Two reasons. First, this information is genuinely not in any document the AI can read - your
travel history exists in your passport stamps (which the AI can partially detect) but not in the precise
format IRCC requires (specific dates, purpose, visa type for every country). Second, legal declarations must
come from you directly. Providing false declarations is a serious immigration offence - having an AI or a
consultant fill in "No" for a criminal history question based on an assumption would be legally dangerous.
These fields must be answered by you with full awareness of what you are declaring.
